On June 12, 2010, West Potomac Academy fashion designers launched their collections. Every year the Fashion Design Department produces a professional caliber fashion show that captures the energy and excitement of the fashion industry. The show gives students an opportunity to display their designs. Students are involved in the planning, promotion and production. Level II seniors are required to complete a senior collection project in which they create a professional portfolio, create the concept and garments for an original fashion collection. This highly creative project is the culmination of everything they learn in fashion education. Senior design students and their collections are the highlight of the Student Fashion Runway Show presented every year.
